How does a Lead Form Campaign work?

A Lead Form Campaign is different to other types of Lead Generation campaigns as it does not require any changes to your website to work. You will use these to generate interest in a new product or service, pre-sale or recruitment.

What happens with a Lead Form Ad:

  • Someone sees your ad then they enter their details to "find out more" or "download"

Your leads are then:

  • Saved in Meta Business Suite
  • You need to download them from there
  • You may follow up with a personalised email, a phone call or add them into your email management system such as Mail Chimp, ConvertKit or Active Campaign
  • You can automate this process using Zapier (this is separate software that costs $50 AUD per month approximately)

To set up your Lead Form Campaign, you will need:

  • A Facebook page
  • A Facebook Ad Account
  • Privacy Policy page on your website - Google this if you don't have one already.
  • Decide on what you will promote
  • Decide where you will send them after they submit your form e.g. download a PDF, or to your website to buy

Optional:

  • Welcome Email series set up on your Email Management system e.g. Mail Chimp, ConvertKit or Active Campaign
